DESCRIPTION
Freediving is about inward power, discipline & control. If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Freediver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.
To enroll in a PADI Freediver Course you must be at least 12 years old. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required, but is recommended.
We do recommend coming into the shop before your pool session to get fitted for a mask, snorkel & fins to take into the ocean to get familiar with gear to get the most out of the course.
Before Pool Session - eLearning & Forms
Saturday - Pool Sessions - Location TBD
Sunday - Ocean Sessions at Catalina Island!
Younger than 12?
- 10 year olds and older can enroll in the PADI Basic Freediver Course (Pool Only)

- Open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives', plus proper buddy procedures. Goal – constant weight freedive of 10 meters/33 feet to 15 meters/55 feet.

EQUIPMENT
In the PADI Freediver Course, you learn to use a Mask, Snorkel, Long Blade Fins, 2-Piece Freedive Wetsuit and Weight Belt.
Full Set of Rental Equipment is included during the course, but we do recommend considering visiting one of our physical locations (San Clemente or Dana Point) to get properly fitted for your own mask, snorkel & fins which can be done when you pick up any other rental gear you need for the course.
